Need more customers, then you have to get your company in front of the clients when they need your product or service.
Many companies spend thousands of dollars every month for TV & Radio ads, mailers and other forms of advertising so that their names are floating around as often as possible in the hopes that when a potential customer needs a service, they will find that company.
Is it not more practical if you have a targeted audience that needs your service and are looking to purchase. Why take the river to the bucket when you can take your bucket to the river?
But how can you do this?
Get a good website design on the first page of the search engine search results! More than fifty percent of people that are searching for a product or service go directly to Google, Yahoo!, Bing, or any of the other search engines. So if fifty percent of clients are looking on the internet- don’t you think you should be easily found?
With some specific efforts, you can get in the organic (non-paid) search results, you can purchase ads, and get registered (and ranked) in places like Google Maps. Good website design is important to do this, as is having a search engine expert for local business online advertising.
Search engine marketing can be less expensive than traditional marketing methods. A little effort on SEO, a few dollars a day on paid Google ads, and a ranking spot in Google Maps will get you the exposure your company needs.
You can pay specialists to do this work for you, but make sure that they are doing work in all three categories, or at least in organic search engine optimization and Google Maps.
If you are going to do paid advertising, or Pay-Per-Click, then someone must do careful analysis on the keywords you are going to use, schedule times and frequencies as well as areas that the advertisements are shown, and more importantly, your daily ad budget. You need to track all of these things to be sure you are getting a good return on investment.
If you are not on the first page of the search engines, then you are loosing consumers that are going to your competition.
